What is Visual Hierarchy?
It is how a visual (image) is organised to show the reader/viewer the order of importance of the different elements.

Good Poster Design Features
A well designed poster should grab your attention, be easy to read and understand; and create a reaction.
A good poster will have a balance between the different design elements where they don't compete against each other for attention.

Lesson Four | Poster Creation
Learning Intentions
Create a poster using Canva.
Work collaboratively using job roles.
Collaboration
Work in your groups of three.
This week's roles are:
Manager- manage discussions, make sure work is complete.
Tech- Uses their computer and Canva account to create the design.
Presenter- presents poster to the class.
Have a look at your groups.
Person 3- manager
Person 1- tech
Person 2- presenter
Activity
Using their computer and log in details, tech person clicks the link in their email to open the poster project in Canva.
The tech person is in control of the computer, but if they want help from their team members, or to share, you may take turns using the computer.
This does not mean the tech person gets to make all the decisions. You still have to work together to create the poster.
It is the manager's job to make sure there is no fighting and the group stays on task.
